Default Save All Midi Items to Midi Item Name.mid

I have too many midi items to open each one in the editor and save them one at a time.
Is there an automated way to Save each midi item to midi file using it's name ??

One way to do this (there may be more ways), is to select the items, right-click and select Item processing -> Convert active take MIDI to .mid file reference.

The files names will be Take name + MIDI + some number.mid

Thank you Julian - your suggestion along with a batch file renamer makes this very easy.

hey Julian... seems like you currently don't have private messaging turned on... is there some reason for not being able to reach you?

Thanks, I tried that but when they save to the project folder they increase in length each time.

I had to select all the media items in the project bay and ctrl+alt drag them to a folder then http://www.bulkrenameutility.co.uk/Main_Intro.php

I do not quite understand what you mean by "they increase in length"?

Each item is saved from the beginning to the current bar.
The top pic shows the original track the tracks under are the renders, 1, 2, 3 and 4th item.

It still not working right with drag render, it is 4 short of 173 items, as it doubles up 4 or 5 items with the same name.
I'm making a script to count selected items open the midi editor for each one, export to new midi with item name and close, just got to work out the save file part.
