CC automation in reaper

Hi all,

I recently migrated from Pro-Tools to reaper and I can't really figure out how to work the midi editor beyond doing simple note entry/velocity stuff. I do a lot of work with Kontakt and Massive and I need to be able to automate various parameters pretty precisely (which is a mess to do in Pro-Tools but at least I know how). How does all this work in Reaper?
