Default OK, I finally went and did it

Sonar refugee here. I have been running Reaper (licensed) on my mobile rig for about a year but was hesitant to put it on my main rig and start "real" projects. I was still doing new things in Sonar and did a few small test projects in Reaper. Only thing is the test reaper mixes came out better than my Sonar mixes. lol I finally broke yesterday and put it on the my main rig.

Its a great product and great community. Thanks to the developers for your work and the community for putting so much helpful content out there.

Check out the 'Sonar To Reaper in 4 Clicks' thread, it might contain some useful info.

This really is a life saver for anyone from Sonar. After about 6 months I am still opening projects that are .cwp and turning them into .rpp with a good amount of ease considering what it really does.

Welcome!

Hey Guys, I have definitely been monitoring that thread with interest.

My initial thought is to leave older work in Sonar (obviously its still on my rig) and to do new stuff in Reaper to avoid the headache of bundled plugins not working IE: Nomad Factory, etc...

If an older project requires more than a tweek, the conversion utility will come in handy.
