Default Can't delete multiple unused project files... any ideas on how to solve this problem

I have had this problem for quite awhile (many version updates) on Win 10 64/bit running the latest REAPER version. REAPER crashes when I try to delete multiple files. I can delete one file at a time without any problems. Also, when the project is opened again some of the files have been deleted.

Your help will be greatly appreciated

Anyway...I was just cleaning up a Pop instrumental featuring the electric bass playing the melody (something that was written in 1980) and is fluctuating between number 1 & 2 on the Reverbnation charts.

Does anyone else have this issue or is it something that is only happening on this computer? There is no point in submitting a bug report if this doesnt happen to anyone else.
REAPER is my favorite DAW and I just want to help in any small way to make it better.

All the best

I'm looking forward to trying Melodyne with Reaper now having ARA2 support. I bet i'm not the only one here cursing myself for already having registered and used up the 30-day time trial of Melodyne Studio.

If they're really market-savvy, Celomony might have timed a sale to line up with the feature release
