Default Screenset windows

I have just joined the forum, so excuse me if I am posting this in the wrong category.
I have been using Reaper for a good few years now and I think I know it pretty well. However, I am having an issue in the screensets windows menu.
I create a window setup as I want it to be and save it to Window screenset 1.
Then I create another layout (in my case, a plugin view in the mixer), and I save it to Window screenset 2. Then I create a third layout, this time with the fader stretched to full, which I call fader view, and I save it to Window screenset 3. I can recall screen set 1, but screen sets 2-10 keep the same window - ie whichever one I changed last comes up in 2 to 10. So it seems I can only have two layouts. I have read the Reaper guide on the screensets/layouts section thoroughly, but I cannot find a solution. Any help would be vastly appreciated.

Default Screen set window

I have attached screenshots
My default screen set is my Standard view.
I then make a Plugins view and save it to screen set 2.
Then Fader view, saved to screen set 3.
Standard view can be called up anytime. The other views (2-10) stay the same as 2. They don't go to the other views I have made.
Very frustrating!

It seems your example pictures show all three window screen sets as you described in your 1st post, correct? How are you calling them back? Via actions or shortcuts and have you tried them both?

Have you tried saving those screensets anew and making sure you ticked all the items in the save window?

Hi,
Op, do u have the auto save button on the screen set window ticked possibly?

Edit...I see u don't.
You can try and rename screensets.INI and create another set of screen sets. It also could be a messed up reaper.INI.
I use screen sets on reaper for decades....I keep a copy of my reaper screenset.INI for when I have to switch computers....new os installs...etc. Never really had an issue with it.

The only difference with my ss is I use shift f8-f12 for saving and just f8-f12 for recall.

you need to play around with the layouts.
Lets say screen 1 uses layout 1 or A of the mixer.
Screen 2 then needs to be layout 2 or B
Same goes for screen 3 layout C
U can choose layouts from the same window you have open. i think its (Ctr E)

Default Screen sets bug.

The bug seems to be that certain layouts are customizable (ie, they remember sizing, plugins view, etc) and some do not. The ones I found so far that definitely remember the window settings are Large Sidebar and all Strips.
