Script to set Merges with MIDI Bus
Hi all, I've got a template with a whole lot of VST Instrument tracks, mostly Kontakt. Would anyone be able to write a script that sets all VST Instruments on selected tracks to Merges with MIDI Bus? I can't figure out a good way to mass set it and doing it one track at a time for 1000 some tracks will sap the life out of me.
Will happily donate to the cause if someone can manage that.

If nothing works, you could try AutoHotkey. Finding control MIDI, selecting it or opening menu, down, down, down, right, down, ENTER. Selecting next track, repeat. Just an idea. Of course a non-AutoHotkey script would be more elegant.

Autokey wouldn't help much. You would still need to do it track by track one at a time.

No of course not, you could let it repeat 1 million times if you want.

I meant Autohotkey can only address one track at a time so it wouldn't be that much faster even if it can repeat the same mouse movement, etc.

I can't find any API function to change the merging with MIDI bus setting. It seems to be saved inside the encoded data of the VST.

But you could drink your coffee and AutoHotkey would do the work. And a program can work errorless. Do you have your template anywhere?
