That fix you put in for the MIDI CC sloo-o-o-o-wwwwwww-ing down for send level input will be back in the next pre-releases I assume, because it isn't in the last RC.

Hope so.

Just installed 5.90x64 and it's showing no slowdown yet. I did get that with the last RC in todays mixing session once. Just for controlling a send on one track. Weird. Please disregard then. It looks like a fluke and I'll be sure to bring it up once it happens again. I jumped to conclusions. Sorry for the worry.

...and though OT a question plz

could there be a pass through action for the Inline MIDI Editor so that we could call a lua to act on the selected notes?

the lua[s] in question work fine the normal MIDI Editor

Quick OT question -- I noticed this thread is still in the pre-release section. I'm still pretty new to how the pre-release section works, but at what point does this thread and official release get moved over to the main forum, and updated to the website for download? I want to get my hands on 5.90 final, but I don't understand if it's still provisional before an "official" decision to "officially" release it. I mean, is it really final-final? Or just final-but-not-quite-final? Apologies if this is a dumb question!

It is planned to be final but it is not yet officially so. You can download it here and report if it has any huge regressions, but unless that happens in the next 6 hours or so it will become official.

You don't need a pass-through action for this, just write a script that calls a MIDI editor action you need.

Devil's advocate here...

I'd love to see a list like this:

Fixed...
Fixed...
Fixed...
x100

and then

Feature Request implemented...
Feature Request implemented...
Feature Request implemented...
x100

That would make my day.

But thanks! Reaper is going somewhere... some where. where... some... going... and going... regardless of the user's complaints it's going...

I'd like to see a rocket luncher counter plugin implemented.

Done. Hurray!

Justin & schwa, thanks so much!

I'm an avid Reaper fan for its functionality and customization.
But I want to point out that being an active part of the development process, by testing and posting feature requests is so rewarding!
To me personally, this experience is a huge motiation and not comparable to any other DAW.

question from Facebook

"After each update i have to carefully re-sort some plugins into their previous Category. For example: all my eqs go into a category called "Vst: EQ", but after each update ReaEQ is back in "EQ" and missing in "Vst: EQ". Can i prevent this from happing for every new update?"

anyone know?

Awesome! As it nears the next version, it's nice that v5 has all these things cleaned up.

There's a post on another forum talking about how people are very upset when their DAWs get new versions and I just kept my mouth shut. It's like a bunch of gifts every time over here.

I see a similar behavior with volume and sends faders/knobs when using the mouse. Justin, could this be the same issue as with MIDI editor and arrange?
