Plugin won't load after update

I am using Waves Real Tune and before I updated Reaper it worked fine. I have uninstalled and re-installed the VST several times and still nothing. Any ideas?

Waves is a special case. Because they use a container (Waves Shell) for their plugins, every time you install something new that uses one of the existing Waveshells, you also need to do a full Clear/rescan in reapers VST window rather than the plain Rescan.
Hopefully this should do the trick for you.

OK. Re-scanned and still nothing. It's showing in Reapers VST list but is not executable by Reaper. I am baffled. I guess I'll have to contact Waves. Anymore ideas?

If it is showing in the VST plugins when you try to add it to a track, what happens?

IF you used Waves Central to do the install & the plugin was already authorised in your Waves account, it should load.

Pretty sure you did, but can you confirm that you did a full CLEAD/ Re-scan and not just a Re-scan? This is crucial.

In waves Central, is the plugin actually showing as authorised too?
