Default Mac Mini to run Keyboard Sample Libraries

I have never owned a Mac.
but I am thinking about getting a 2012 Mac mini.
I want to use it with Reaper, to play and record
Keyboard Sample Libraries.
for example Spectrasonics Keyscape and
Garritan Abbey Road CFX and such.
would any Mac users, please have any thoughts about this?
I am hoping that it will be a strong enough computer
for this.
thank you,
Charlie

check to see if the specs of the machine would be enough for the software you want to run

So long as it comes with either 8 or 16 gb of ram & is one of the i7 models you should be fine. Sent you a PM, by the way.

I use a 2012 Mac mini i7 16gb as my main rig. Going great.

That era is the most regarded as you probably found.

One thing to consider is if it comes with an SSD hard drive.

Worth getting, for speed and heat and quietness etc.

Installing one after the fact is a bit of a surgery adventure as the packaging in there is tight. but there are video guides and if prepared isn't that bad.
