Default Beta Testing V4?

Just wondering how to sign-up?

I believe there are many in the Cockos community that would be interested in helping QA during beta testing.

I'm fairly new to REAPER, haven't been around for a major version release so I'm not familiar with how Cockos does beta testing. Is it open sign-up or just a select few in the inner-council?

At some point, betas for 4 (I think we even had alphas for 3, the difference being largely stability and process-killing bugs if I recall) will start showing up in the same manner as the pre-release versions we all know and love. Easy peasy.

There may be a very brief period when the earliest alphas are available only to the most expert/trusted users but they will soon start appearing in the usual place where the pre-releases are.

I can start a "As I remember...." but it might be best to give you a link to show how it was done for version 3.
