Default Some feedback on my demos please

Hi all

I've recorded these tracks over the past year so, some of them are at the 1st demo stage, and some are at the 2nd & 3rd demo stage and I'd be interested to hear what people think with regards to the songs themselvces and the production, what sounds good, what sounds bad, basically, anything really that will help me improve

A lot of what I write about is political corruption, media manipulation, false flag terror attacks, paedophiles within the churches and establishment, and my own mental deterioration at the sudden realisation that everything is not what it seems, so you know, it's not very radio friendly '0)

My influences vary between 80's synth pop, 90's indie, stoner rock and everything else inbetween

Ok thanks folks, here's the link to my soundcloud....

Kearnsy.....
I listened to your original tracks on the cloud, and found that I had discovered a refreshing, new (for me) artist.
Nicely composed, written, played, recorded, mixed and mastered !! Keep going !!
I will be watching for your new songs now. Thanks !

First, I'm impressed. Really good songs, really good mixing, arranging and performance.
Second, Your voice reminds me, at times, of Mark Knopfler from Dire Straits and someone else I can't put my finger on. Jim Morrison maybe? I like it.
Now my opinion on some things, keeping in mind my opinion sucks.
First song the vocals seem too wide and get lost in the mix especially in the bridge. I thought it would be cool if you brought them closer to center and panned them side to side when you sang the line "side to side". I don't know, maybe I'm just cheesy. Also I heard in my head an electric guitar solo where that break is. Something 80's hair style. Probably just me though.
Song 2 the Roswell, CIA line sounds kind of forced and not natural.
3 and 6 could probably be shorter without losing anything.
The only song I didn't like and wound up skipping was 7.
12 was funny at times and cheesy, in a bad way, at others.
I'd have to listen again to get specific.
There you have it, my opinion whatever it's worth to you.
Overall, again, impressed!

Listening to The War Machine. Good stuff, man. Political tunes are bad? Nope.
