Default FR: Looping utility/editor

Something like the old MAC program from Redmatica which had an excellent looping window. It was possible to create seamless loops in a few mouse clicks.

I don't own the program and it's not available anymore. I'll try to track down a YouTube clip.

This shows some samples being looped with Redmatica Keymap Pro.

ok cool! By googling i found other 2 ways of doing seemless loops:

like:
A) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EN0GiUh6TjA

and like
B) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_XMzhhIGj8

if A produces the same result as B, i think it would be helpful if we had something like:
Render time selection 2 times (i think i'll request this). And so we could easily do seemless loops for getting the tail in the beggining technique.

the guy in B says the opposite at ~4:38 (https://youtu.be/t_XMzhhIGj8?t=271)
He says it can have different results! i don't see why! can it be true?

Also, Which other techniques exist?

The techniques in those videos are good for looping ambiences for game work. I'm more interested in creating content to use in samplers, and often the attack of the sample has to be left intact.

X-raym has a script that's quite good for creating game ambience and works for certain types of sampler content. Here is his demo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjGD...36839697205517

For the type of sounds I'm trying to create it doesn't sound right unless the loop is crossfaded in the sustain portion of the sample.
