Seems this is an old one but a new Drum sampler just came along and its name looks like this in Cantabile:
In Reaper it took me ages to find it 'cause its called:
How on earth does that happen ?

Not just SDFX
I don't think this is just a problem for SDFX. Ialso see it a lot in other plugins. I have been wondering what is causing this myself.

You're right - SOLVED is not correct on this thread admin!
In my screenshot above you can see the two MDA pianos - both of them have the same name in Reaper so you neve know when you're gonna get the ePiano or not.....
So, the thread title remains after all the other hosts manage to display these plugins correctly.
Cheers

You should rename those plugins for the time being.

Jason - that is not the point.
I'm not asking for help (although I'm sure you mean well.)
The point of a bug report is to bring it to the attention of the developers.
Dandruff put FIXED on here which is plain wrong and causing confusion - at the worst causing the problem to be ignored.
Happy Easter All
Martin

"Container" means they're SynthEdit VSTs that haven't had their metadata set correctly, I think.
Some really good VSTs do this, though.
This one is a great VA: http://blu-gruv.tripod.com/sitebuild...ion2update.rar
This one shows up on my system as Container as well: http://rekkerd.org/bluenoise-releases-seven/
Note - I might have old versions of these, new ones might have fixed that.

Hi Justin,
here you go:
OSIRIS
G-FORCE
Texture
Also wrongly named are the two famous pianos from MDA - 'ePiano' and 'Piano' as seen in my Cantabile Screenshot above.
Cheers - thanks for looking into this.
