Default Does Reaper have chords generator?

Hello. I just started to learn Reaper today, however, I have an ahead of time question. Reason DAW has this plugin "Chords and Scales" that, generates chords from one note and conforms notes to scale. Here is a video.
Can I achieve this effect in Reaper fast? It would make my learning fun...

While it's still on sale ($14.90 vs $75.50), I'd recommend checking out InstaChord.

When Scaler goes on sale, you may want to give that a look, as well.

And a couple of videos for InstaChord.

I run it in Gig Performer when brainstorming/noodling around, so I can easily change VIs and don't need to open my DAW.

I know it's an old thread, but feel it needs the right answer at the end for posterity.

I came with the same question, and discovered Lokasenna's theory helper, which I love, so thanks Lokasenna.

So the answer is yes, and it's easy to do in Reaper what the OP asked, and just using one or two simple midi plugins.

See the Reaper Mania video (thanks Kenny, awesome):

Maybe this wasn't possible at the time of the OP's question, as it's from September last year.

In looking for a 'Chord Generator' that handles 7th chords, complex chords with all the extensions, permutations & substitutions, Scaler looks very interesting. I'm gonna have to check it out.

Default Yes....it does!

As the previous post, I know this is old but couldn't help but think that the Chord Gun script needed a mention - this really is a brilliant compositional help, and also excellent for learning music theory.

Well worth a look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_cqFfeOQYo
