Default Mouse modifiers: Midi note > Activate MIDI item... Editability bug?

Hi.
I noticed the next thing.
What do you think about this? Is it a bug or can it be configured somewhere?

If you select the following action in the mouse modifier: Midi note > Activate MIDI item -
Double-click to select notes.
The selection is made, but at the same time remains edit the previous item.

I have three tracks and three item - https://i.imgur.com/jJHvavQ.png
1) selected the track 1
2) you can edit track 1
3) you cannot edit other tracks.

I choose the notes on track 2 - https://i.imgur.com/4Co57jn.png
1) track 1 is selected.
2) the track 2 can be edited. That's good!
3) track 1 can be edited. Why? I await the that can be edit only track 2.
4) track 2 where I select notes > mouse modifier: Midi note > Activate MIDI item

I choose the notes on the track 3 - https://i.imgur.com/FyTf8h1.png
1) track 2 is selected. Very strange.
2) the track 2 can be edited. Why? I expect that you can edit only the track 3.
3) track 3 can be edited. That's good!
4) track 3 where do I select notes > mouse modifier: Midi note > Activate MIDI item

If I select a track in the "track list" it works https://i.imgur.com/bb02vvN.gif

Here I recorded a small video about this problem: https://streamable.com/3t26b

Thank you!

Seems like it leaves the last selected item editable.
For me it's a very desirable outcome most of the time, cause i want to edit multiple tracks at the same time.

But i understand your confusion, there could be a different action for it, to activate only the selected item.

How about two double clicks? One leaves current item Editable, one leaves it Visible. Hm, maybe a third could clear it. That third scenario doesn't really concern me much.

The other items Editable/Visible status should not be altered the way it is being done now. (Edit. There is already an option: only media items on same track are Editable. Maybe that should be taken into consideration/would satisfy those who want other tracks Visible and all on active track Editable. Hm, maybe not. Some of them want to activate the whole track as Editable. You also may only want the item containing the notes to be Editable...another modifier? Or some action they can run after switching. Whatever. The last item being Always left Editable is what bothers me, personally)

Some choices of options will cause behavior like this when opening items via double click item in arrange.

By the way, this subject is currently relevant to pre-release development. You may want to check on that section of forum, or voice your opinions there.

Ok. Action: Activate MIDI item... Editability.

I click on one item (note) and expect that will be edited only one item.
Then there should be an option: leave the editing on the last selected aitem.

If I need to edit several item (tracks) I handles choose my desired tracks.

In any case, it turns out that this is not a bug of a concrete action? https://i.imgur.com/quJvKcY.jpg
