Default Revert "select" layouts to global command

I built a toolbar to easily change track and mixer layouts via this video here by reaper mania:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=roXF7QD-OJk

Problem I am having is that if I select a track or mixer channel and change(via the toolbar action) only that track or mixer channel to a different layout, that track gets stuck in a rut so to speak to where it will only respond to "select" commands, not the general "mixer panel" or "track panel" commands.

Anyone know what I'm talking about and how I might go about resolving this?

You could try quick fix: After you have done a global layout change which changes the layout for all the other tracks, hit Undo once.

By changing their layouts you've told Reaper "this one doesn't use the global setting". I *think* all you have to do is right-click the track, choose Layout, and click Default. Not sure though.

Yep, that does the same thing as hitting Undo.
