Default Lock Marker to SMPTE position

Hi All,

Apologies if this has been raised before but I couldn't see it.

Would it be possible to look a marker to a time position? As markers and tracks have to be of the same timebase in settings, it would be good to be able to lock markers to a time position.

This way if you're working to picture you can have scene cut markers locked to time but have the tracks working to beats.

This is doable in other daws but I've not found a simple solution to do it in reaper as yet.

Cheers,

Chris

Hi All...I was just about to ask the same question, as I've just found out that Reaper's Markers lock to a specific bar/beat, while I would need to lock them to a specific moment in time (so to a specific timecode)

Is this possible?

The Ideal would be to have the option between the two for every marker we create.

This is really immensely important as it's standard behaviour for every other program and its absolutely indispensable when working to picture.

I hope you'll add this very soon, finger crossed!

Thank you very much for your hard work!!
