Default How to save COMPLETE project files.

I have searched for what's needed, but couldn't seem to find it.

I have a song I'm working on, which incorporates just three tracks (main music bed on track one (ChordPulse Wav), and VSTi instruments on tracks two, and three). I wish to transfer a copy of those to my laptop, for the purpose of taking the setup to a more conducive location for recording my vocals. I am sure that there MUST be a way by which to export the AUDIO files, also, to another computer, without having to install the same VSTi plugins on my laptop. If so, please inform.

Advanced thanks.

Select all tracks in TCP
File, Render
Source: Stems (selected tracks)
Bounds: (entire project)
Other options to suit, might want to Add recorded items to new tracks

Click Render x files (where I guess in your case x=3 )

When done, File, Save Project As

Select destination disk (USB stick?) and path.
Tick Create subdirectory and Copy all media

Click Save to continue ...

Thanks, Nicholas.

Just prior to revisiting, here, I had searched for - and found something that I thought would have set me on the right path. When I tried it, though, I didn't realize completion. All that had exported was track 1. Even then, that track wouldn't wouldn't emit sound, even though I could clearly see audio activity in its meter window. I've had a few instances, in the past, where Reaper wouldn't output sound, and can't remember how I corrected that. But, I will find out - just as I had before. Tomorrow (gotten a bit sleepy, now ), I will give YOUR suggestion a shot.

Again, thanks.

A common mistake people make is not to select the tracks. Make sure you select the tracks in the track panel .... The number shown on the "Render x files" button should be the same as the number of tracks you are rendering.

If you can see the peaks and waveform on the media item and activity in the meters, then the items will contain the sound. The problem them will not lie with the items themselves.
