(free) Xfaded brass for Virtual Playing Orchestra
Version 2.3 of Virtual Playing Orchestra is now available. It's mostly about adding dynamic cross faded patches for trumpet, french horn, trombone with a few other small improvements such as some of the tremolo section patches.
Virtual Playing Orchestra
The download page also has a link to a page that explains the cross fade patches and provides a comparison to patches without dynamic cross fade.

Cool...thanks as always!
I have some expensive libraries, but I'm always grateful to have VPO to fill in the blanks...great sound, very easy to use and you can't beat the price!
And if all that wasn't enough, your work to optimize the library is always appreciated.
Thanks so much!

Thanks! Good to know that Virtual Playing Orchestra can be used with expensive libraries. I was fortunate to be able to find good samples to work with.

I use this library exclusively so if I find a problem while using it, I'll fix it and happily share it.

This disappeared off the front page of the forum rather quickly, so I just thought I'd bump it one time for anyone who may have missed it and might be interested.

Thanks Paul, the cross fading makes a lot of sense and sounds wonderful.

Hi Paul, thanks for bumping! I missed it indeed and the crossfading sound examples are so good!

Thank you, Paul, for all your effort and work you put into this library!
At first glance it seems to be very usable.
