In the time it took to post this topic, you could have tried it.
But to answer your question, "probably".

I load up Voxengo's SPAN to find the lowest frequency.

A tuner with a long enough window would probably work.

ReaTune doesn't work very well for me at those frequencies; when I tune my bass guitar I usually go to something other than ReaTune (it just doesn't seem to detect my low E/A at all). Maybe that's just my bass, though, no clue, it's the only one I've got (when real bassists come in they always have their own tuners so I don't think I've ever tried ReaTune on someone else's bass).

I've done that but i am unsure about the result

Ps some people suggested to me to apply an heavy distortion to raise harmonics

No way - reatune can't handle low frequencies.
Tested.
Have no idea why, but it is a fact.

Yeah - I use harmonics to tune my bass when using ReaTune. But SPAN is a good option for identifying the frequency of your kick sample.

in ReaTune raise the window size to 100ms.

I had come to the exact same conclusion as you until i saw some else post this tip.
ReaTune works with lower frequencies as long as you set the window size to a larger value.

When I want to really get the tune of a low freq sound, I simply first... pitch it up one or two octaves.

For kicks, I do this with Reasamplomatic, as I use it for all my drums.

Maybe I'm wrong, but my kicks don't have base frequency. I'm working with metal drums, and all those kicks have frequency sweep from higher to lower tones. If the spectrum analyzer shows some base freq, it is because of the windowing FFT. With longer windowing, I see continuous spectrum.

But as I said, I can be wrong...
