Default Melodyne rescan section?

I've been using Melodyne and REAPER for a while, but recently moved everything to a new PC, and ARA seems enabled by default, so I thought I'd give it a try again.

I don't know if others have had this experience, but sometimes Melodyne does a really crazy job of capturing a vocal track if the voice is distorted (think Rod Stewart or David Draiman (Disturbed), not black metal ). Sometimes it's just best to record another section and start over.

If I delete a short section of 'blobs' in Melodyne, I cannot seem to get it to reload audio from the original tracks. Is there a way to do this in ARA? In 'regular' mode I can just re-capture.

Melodyne works best on a clean source, it does have trouble with distortion. To have Melodyne re-detect, click on one blob, and then under Algorithm, select Melodic, as pictured:

Melodyne has amazing undo functions. You can selectively undo different changes to one note, or a series of notes, and not affect all the other edits that you've done. Right click on a blob, to bring up the restore menu.
