Default [reaper wine bug?]shortcircuit 1.1.2 drag drop in wine, problem

shortcircuit 1.1.2 has a great drag and drop feature, using ctrl-alt-drop any time selection into shortcircuit you can put that sample section onto a midi keyboard key. This feature works perfectly in Windows.

However, trying to achieve same in wine in ubuntu there is a problem, maybe someone has a useful tip how to overcome this problem. ctrl-alt does render time selection to a new file, which goes to project directory, this all works nicely, BUT shortcircuit can not show the correct path to this file, so it shows this sample slot, but the wave form is missing, so then also no sound. Any ideas how to solve the "wrong path" problem of wine?

Also not sure if this is a shortcircuit problem or reaper in wine problem.
UPDATE: I am guessing, for the most part it should be a reaper in wine drag and drop problem. Why? If I drag and drop from file manager directly into shortcircuit the sample is working correctly. Only when doing it from Reaper arrange using ctrl-alt-drop, it does not work! Well, not in wine. Maybe some additional "filepath" (quotes around path) are missing, not sure. It could be great, if Reaper devs could check or test themselves, if possible. Somehow it seems Reaper does not report dropped file path 'wine friendly'.
