Maybe I should update the manager to include both x64 and x32 versions of the libraries and use the one needed. I thought almost nobody was using x32 versions, but I Was wrong. There are many who use x32 version.

I forgot to mention that this v1.1pre is a pre-release with the Track Versions + Grouping feature. So I would recommend it to be used only for testing. Not on production. It probably won't break anything. Use it at your own risk And please tell me if you see anything wrong. All the rest, you can use it safely as before. Only the versions and grouping is in pre-release state.

No problem as it was actually written in the info text on webpage, but would be good if included both x64/x32 binaries to avoid confussion, for sure. - Yes we are still here with our 32bits :-D

P.S.: And maybe some tip or FR: What about option to display or not (YES/NO) the meters and waveform display?

Yes I'll definitely add both x32 and x64 versions. It should be better.

There is an option to hide/show the waveform and RMS meters. You have to right click in the small label button "METERS ▲" in the meters panel.

These label buttons on each panel are used also to hide/show the entire panel by left clicking on them.
CTRL left click on them isolate them and hide the others.
Right click, to show menus with options on some of them.

You gave me a new idea. Some may not want the Loudness meter, which uses more CPU, and will be good with the RMS one. So there could be an option to hide the Loudness one and use RMS instead, or none.

Try closing Track Inspector, and you can safely delete those track inspector tracks. See if they are created again next time you run it. There should be only one if using only one Track Inspector instance.

Thinking it over, I might be wrong.
As all the instances are bypassed. I'll check again.

btw: Track versions can cause trouble if changing the folder-structure.
I put 2 tracks in a folder, suddenly the other was muted by onknown cause.
Then I checked hidden track version of #1 and it was now become the parent of the second one, muted.

Track Versions should work ok inside a folder if all versions are children of a parent folder. You can reorder tracks, but all inside this parent folder. You cannot make a track version as a parent folder track. Because when you switch to another version it mutes the rest of the versions, and since it is a parent track, it mutes also the children, creating a mess.

This would be useful. But still not supported. For example a track with a VSTi as parent and some children tracks that feed MIDI data to it. Changing version of the parent track should also include all its children tracks.

some fixes and improvements. If you don't need EBUR128 measurement, you can do fine with just RMS, which will save you CPU. Now you can do it by unselecting the option "Show EBUR128" in the right click menu of the "Meters" panel. This moves the RMS meters to the right where the EBUR128 was, without overlapping waveform display.

ok... there were bugs on frozen tracks with more plugins, and some other bugs... now it really works. Please keep in mind it is a pre-release. It should work but hit CTRL+S to save project before dragging plugins here... there is no undo at least while it is a pre-release. Report any problems here. thanks!

It is not as fast as I would like if you reorder while dragging if the chunk data of the track is big. So I made it as an option to move the plugin only when you drop. This way it would be like when you drag them in the FX chain.

It is not TI doing it. I've tested and if I bypass the plugins on the FX chain normally. They also seem to move out from the folder in project bay. It may be a bug.

For some reason when I drag an fx, it drags the fx below the fx which is under the cursor, and when I try to drag the last fx gives me this error:

bad argument #1 to 'remove' (position out of bounds)

then it terminates TI

Also when I have more effects and I drag, reaper freezes for like 30 seconds, the mentioned effects were offline when tested...

If it helps: I use two instances one for tracks on the left, and one for the master on the right...

I also have a request, if it's possible and you have the time, I use templates with offline effects, so they are there when I need them (no need for fx browser :P ) and TI can't handle them only the fx chain window, it would be great if TI would somehow mark the offline effects and it could bring them online...

Rearranging plugins is an awesome addition. I' really happy I got the VIP version, without mixer I have so much more space, and TI adds great features not available in a normal mixer strip layout.

Question: The license forbids tampering with the source, but would it still be acceptable for me to replace the icon pngs with my own? TI looks neat with track colours and all, but the default theme icons stick out.

thanks. I'll try to improve that. I didn't test with offline plugins. I'll see if that's the cause. It doesn't have to freeze for 30 seconds, maybe half a second or one second... not 30.
I would gladly add offline support but doing it without the proper API functions from REAPER would be slow. I was waiting if Cockos adds the proper API functions to deal with offline plugins. I should ask them.

@noise_construct. Yes you can overwrite the pngs with your own. That's a feature I want to add at some time. To support different sets of png images in subfolders to be able to quickly change the style. It could also change the style with REAPER theme change. Make sure you have backups of the pngs because they will be overwritten each time you update the script from the hedascripts manager.

I just subscribe to the VIP account but i have a problem with the script.
I'only able to see the Master track, it doesn't follow the selected track.
The script is Track_Inspector_VIP_Master. I think it's the problem.
Is there another script somewhere?
It seems i miss something.

@Infrabass:yes it's a problem in a recent update of the HeDaScripts Manager. It seems to add the action only the master instance. Are you using OSX? It seems working fine on Windows. I need to fix it.

Offline plugins appear with the wet/dry knob as if it is 0%. I know it is not ideal. They should appear like in another color for example. I'll see if I can do it without slowing it down. In the next version you will be able to Online/Offline them by CTRL+click on them.

HEDA I just found out what was the problem:
I had parameters shown up below the first fx name, if you have 1 then it will be the next fx which is dragged, if you have 2 parameters then 2 fx below and so forth...

oh... right... It doesn't work well if parameters are displayed on the fx chain panel. The problem of giving many options, (like having parameters on fx chain, or its own panel) is you need to test more options I'll try to fix it.

You can toggle online/offline the plugins by CTRL clicking them

New option in the freeze panel menu(right click), to create new track version when freezing. This is nice to have a copy of the track with the MIDI data accessible. OR if you want to switch between frozen and not frozen versions quickly.
It adds a suffix *frozen* to the frozen version. You can customize this suffix in the global options ini file, or set it to "" if you don't want it.


Reordering plugins when having parameters displayed in the fx chain panel is not straight forward so, for now reordering is disabled in that case.

Thx for the update.
Very cool to be able to offline FX from the TI!

The script/app is very stable and its remarkable due to his complexity!
I just find two little issues:

- My pan mode by default in my reaper projects is Stereo Pan (with the width knob) but in TI even if the project setting pan mode is selected (is there a way to always use another mode?) its the Stereo Balance/Mono Pan (Default) who is display. I had to switch manually to the Stereo Pan mode on each new track.

- Another user already report it but i confirm a problem with the docking information in screensets.
TI don't keep his position as it was saved.
I'm on Mac, OSX 10.10.5

Apart from that, it rocks!
