Default Remove Item From Group

There must be a way, but I can't find it.

Thanks.

Okay, I just found that clicking on the little group icon on an item seems to do it.
But what about a number of items at once.

Thanks.

Click on the little grouping icon on (or above) the item or use the action "Item grouping: Remove items from group" (which is bound to the 'U' key by default).

But "U" removes the entire group, right?

I want to remove one (or more items) from the group, but leave the rest of the group....grouped.

Thanks.

That action only removes selected items from the group.

Sounds like you have "Selecting one item selects group" enabled. Right click on the grouping toolbar icon and disable this option.

Try clicking View -> Grouping Matrix.
