Default Cannot find unsigned VST in Reaper on MacOS 13.3.1 (a) Ventura

This is for an intel i7 2019 MBP.

I am trying to load the PG-8x synth VST and have downloaded the appropriate ...MacVST.zip file from the author's webiste: https://sites.google.com/site/mlvst0/

I have placed the VST file in the `Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST` path as recommended, however The synth still won't show up when re-scanning Reaper's plug-in path.

The typical problems arise from MacOS complaining about having an unsigned VST, but Catalina-era solutions aren't working for me. I've tried:

1. removing the com.apple.quarantine from the specific VST via `sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/PG-8X.vst`

2. Disabling gatekeeper (https://www.vennaudio.com/allowing-u...ins-in-mac-os/) in hopes it would allow Reaper to run the VST. No dice.

I'm guessing Ventura is different enough to require a new solution? Happy to try other approaches!

Alright, some combination of the above must have worked... I'm now able to see it in the FX window. But it's showing up in the VSTi list, and not 'VST' like I was expecting.

Leaving this up in case it helps anyone else
