Default Error parsing project (SOLVED)

Hello,
I was working on a long project. (I had already over 8 minutes.)
But suddenly my computer fell out.
This happens when I don't remind myself to check my battery because my computer doesn't notice me about that.
When I wanted to get back to work and opened REAPER I got this message:
Quote:
There was an error parsing the specified project: Z:\home\myname\myprojectname.RPP
I believe that there is a big chance that I lost my work.
But if there is a way to get it back to life,
I would greatly appreciate it if someone can tell me.

I use REAPER version 4 with a non-commercial license, I run it via WINE on AVLinux (a debian based multimedia 'distribution') and use wineASIO as my ASIO driver via JACK.
If that even matters.

Upload the project .rpp file, somebody should be able
to examine and fix it for ya. Hopefully it's just a corrupt
line in the file.

There's missing data at the start and end of project, I've removed
the last partial <item> element at the end and faked the header
info from one of my projects, so you can at least open the file.

The problem is there will likely be many incorrect parameters of
main project settings (tempo, master channel, editing settings, etc.)

I suggest you open it with a notepad or any basic text-editor
and correct the info that you remember (especially the bpm,
and the current REAPER version).

Also I strongly suggest enabling backup feature when saving
or automatic on certain time intervals in preferences > project.

You will end up with lots of rpp-bak files, which you will have
to manually delete later to reduce disk usage but better safe
than sorry

I am facing the exact same issue with my Reaper project, file and backup file won"t open, says "There was an error parsing the specified project..." for both. Tried to open it with text application: blank page.
Can I send you my file so you can check what is wrong with it please? I would be infinitely grateful.

If the rpp-file is blank when opening in a text editor, it's very likely gone and not restorable, I'm afraid.
