Sometimes, what looks nice is actually not ergonomic in the spur of the moment because things get blurry (ears working, eyes not so much...) - shadow gives visual orientation to the rest of the interface and is a good choice not by itself but in the complete GUI layout.
Every theme (or any other workflow modification) should be judged during working hours, not outside of it when our eyes are more engaged and thus working in a different mode.

I did work longer times with SD3 and the pan knob still bothered me after hours spent.

This is old news, but I think this Janne theme has some similarity with what you're doing here:
https://stash.reaper.fm/theme/1890/J...ReaperThemeZip
Perhaps there's something you can gather out from it,
like the color scheme of the Track Buttons, or the Master Pan knob ain't too bad..
But of course yours is just Superior..
(I had to :P)
PS: Perhaps you could do a Yellow/Orange version instead of Blue?
if it doesn't detract from the lovely Focus/Clearness this theme has ofc..

It's not because you can't easily see where an item ends and another one begins. This is kinda important

I tottaly agree with you,it would be better to see more the difference.Personally i would prefer to keep the colour inside the item as it is and to change the colour outside item's boundaries to total black or more to grey.

Dots around the pan knob look a bit weird, and overall styling seems a bit contrary to the rest of the GUI, perhaps? The colored part of the pan knob doesn't have the same color as the colored part of the volume slider, also making it look slightly incongruent. Sorry!
But! Everything else looks pretty much spectacular IMHO.

Really love how this theme is turning out. Would it be possible to add the option for track panel color tinting in the TCP and MCP?

+1!
Furthermore, will the theme have MCP and TCP layouts for VCAs and Folders?
And will there be a "long name" layout for the TCP?
I'd gladly pay for the more advanced features.

I would have kept the original 3D pan knob as it gave this theme a distinct personality. This new knob make the theme look like a alternate version of I Logic NeXT (it's my favorite theme and the one I'm using right now, so I'm not really complaining), but since I Logic NeXT already exists, I don't know why I'd get this new one.
But that's just my 2 cents.

This is really not easy to find a pan that will be adequate for this theme, I try several model, flat, 3d,ect.. I was in the volume direction for the moment, this can change if you have suggestions go for it!! Because personally all the TCP section of the superior theme is not for my taste, but if I change too much it will not be superior!

For the question of tinting I will answer as follows, the first problem is that for this type of theme that asks for a specific meter the option are more limited to make them, I must cover the section of the meter with a picture "Mcp_ol_meter " which hides a Part of the meter, and to tint a track we have to play with the opacity to make it transparent, but the meter does not be transparent and nothing can go through top of meter has the execption of filing Mcp_ol_meter what exactly is the same problem for scaling up and down and also change all the color when track are selected reaper do not allow to change the meter style for the moment hard to explain in English sorry i can do a mcp whit tint option but that will change everyting and is the same for I Logic theme

I don't know how time consuming this can be since I'm not a themer, but if there was an option to have the original 3D knob for the TCP, that'd be awesome. By default you could have the new pan knob you'll end up using, and in the theme preferences you could have the optional 3D pan knob TCP layout. Plus, the 3D knob would fit with the one located in the transport bar right now.

This one is perfect as far as I'm concerned! (Well, if only the color of the ring of the knob is matched to the color the slider is using, THEN it's 100% perfect!)

To be honest I like the original pan pots, even if they don’t match 100% the rest of the theme

As far as the pan knob, I liked what you did previously, where it matched the color of the track panel, just without the dots.
So my vote would be this:
Just without dots.
On the track panel tinting, it would be really nice if you could figure a way to do tinting properly in the MCP. I would definitely donate more as well. If it is just too much trouble or not possible then I understand.

Yes that one would have also worked if it didn't have the dots, and the colored arc would follow the slider's fill color.

Would you be willing to make a separate layout that is identical except for the meter?
You can then have it point to a different layout folder in the RTCONFIG that only contains a different meter overlay and a transparent MCP_BG for users that want the track tint.
This would require minmal extra coding and only 2 additional image files.
The caveat being they have to trade the open LED meter style for an inset meter section.
This is just an example:
