Lovely, and you've also changed 'Apply' to 'Save Settings' which is much clearer, thx.

It doesn’t actually write an output file at all but will render the audio so you can see the levels.

Perfect for faster-than-realtime LUFS/true peak analysis!

For dry run, the buttons "Launch File" and "Show in Finder" are redundant in the "Finished in..." window?
Thanks for the new features. They will be really handy.

Also, when running the 'Calculate loudness ...' actions the 'Back' button in the "Finished in..." window is redundant as well I think as it just closes the window, like the 'Close' button.

Encountered a weird issue with peak normalization. Some audio files when normalized to 0dB peak, but only from certain levels, show clipping in the render analysis AFTER normalization. Often it is just 1 clip, sometimes it is also several clips.
If you can't reproduce, here is a file: https://we.tl/t-2yKLKPjghz
If you set the gain of this file to -11.8dB (several other values will also work, like -11.6) and normalize to 0.0dB peak, the analysis should show 8 clips.
This doesn't happen when normalizing the file starting from unity gain or from some other gain values. Certain values do, others don't.

In the render analysis window I have noticed there is some blank space at the end which is never used, while the space for the track name is rather short. Would it be possible to shift the statistics a bit to the right to make it possible to display a few more characters for the name?

In addition to that: I think, dry rendering doesn't need to show an output file on top of the "Rendering to file..."-dialog, as it's not created anyway.
Edit:
it looks like dry rendering does do both rendering passes, when choosing 2nd pass render.
Shouldn't the statistics not reflect both of them separately? Or is it not relevant due the way the processing works?

Media Item Lanes
Checking back in on this – not sure if this is the best place to comment, but in the spirit of the "shortest path" to the desired outcome: - item lane divider line (themeable like envelope lane divider line)
- grouped items across tracks (e.g. drums) should move together across lanes... or into newly created lanes
- selectable active playback lane which passes audio, with track group membership option
- Options: show only active lane
If there are other things planned, I am certainly eager to know. Again, I just don't know where this conversation is (or should be) happening. Thanks!

Yes this can be slightly confusing. I must admit when trying out the dry render that I have checked the shown render path (also during render) to see whether really no file is being / has been created. It’s reallly no big issue, but not showing a path would make it a bit more obvious that the render is truly dry.

Larger Render Window
Thank you Devs for the larger Render window. Seeing the larger waveform while printing is much easier to see if I'm over compressing a track.

Regarding this, I have noticed with stereo sounds having a pixel between the tracks actually helped to keep the channels apart:
BEFORE +dev0605
AFTER +dev0605
Without that pixel the channels blur with eachother.
The issue applies also (and is even more evident because you can zoom out) for stereo items in the arrange window, where I always missed that pixel from the render window.
HOW IT IS
HOW IT SHOULD BE (simulated by decreasing gain)
I suspect the 'error' that you have fixed is that 1 pixel got cut off from the peaks. Obviously I am NOT suggesting to bring that error back, but would it be possible to have 1 extra pixel between the channels for both stereo renders and items? (I guess the same would apply to multichannel).
