Default Song done in Reaper

Oy!

Since everyone's posting their reaper-made songs, here goes:

http://ext.gamemusic.ca/demofiles/DE...ainst_fear.wma low res, small version

Enjoy

Bubbles here...

reminded me immediately of final fantasy battle music. Im sure these are all giga samples used in your bastardized version of sfz +

I really like the harmonization you used -

and the chromatic-ish piano stuff you have going on in the background at
-2:11 before the violin comes in...

decent lead violin sound, a bit synthy for my tastes.

liked the section better.

brass was nice and subtle. you arranged this all in reaper? what vsti? what system? what samples? i want to know now!

very nice.

i would love a game with a good emotional plot with this music in it.

would love to hear more of your stuff.

I liked it! You had lots of cool stuff on your website as well. If you don't mind me asking, what sample is the bell from? I'm interested finding sample (free or puchase as long as they are high quality) but don't know where to look particularly for this sound. I have KONTAKT 2 and GOP. Any recommedation would be great. Thanks.

Great stuff - loved the morricone bits and the french horns...

Is that supposed to be a viola or a saw near the end ? - Seems a bit out of its depth.

Thanks for sharing!

Hehe, a violin from GPO. I should've played it live but it would've taken around 20 takes haha

I'm impressed. Sounds like you should be making a decent living out of this. As a canuck you should send in a demo to Bioware.

I'd have to agree that the solo strings sounded synthetic but that's my only knock.

a piece of proffesionalism. are you using some vsti-s in this, or only hardware things?
