V.x Theme (( PROLOGIX ))
Hi, sorry to double post ... I could not edit the title above.
I open a new thread since I've renamed the theme.
I will report here.
Thanks and sorry if this bothers anyone.
I'm working on this theme for a group of people who have entrusted me, for these people will be somewhat different because it is more personalized.
As you see, is not exactly equal to logic, say you're inspired and have some of the same things.
I still have another standard version in which I will work.
I'm just working on this and pro x-tools actually.
I do not know if I'm breaking any rules with this ... if so, I apologize, and proceed to remove the message.
[CENTER]Dont worry ... be very cheap,
albert290276@gmail.com
Thanks for everything

Very nice! But why use "READ" "INSERT" instead of the Reaper vocabulary for those functions?

Yeah looks great.
Keep it simple like this. Don't be tempted to embellish. It looks really nice to work with and more detail would take away rather than add.

Agreed. Looks pretty much perfect as is, although having interlaced meters would be awesome. Looks very contemporary without having too many blinding pastels like it's the 80's. That crap is everywhere nowadays. :-p

You need to remove elements resembling Logic , and make it the default theme for V5)

"READ" is probably envelope mode, that's fine. But I agree with "Insert". Should be "FX".

It is only a matter of aesthetics ... we'll see ... I think the 2 ways is completely understandable, and have the same functionality.
by the way ... I'm working under reaper 5 ... and although there is little new in terms of theming ... my resolve me a lot ... so are the colors
in terms of logic, I'd say that's not the same, only has a reasonable likeness

Except "Insert" is a completely wrong term to use in case of Reaper, since there are no dedicated insert FX racks or send FX racks... It should be "FX". "Insert" makes no sense if the track is functioning as a send bus.

I have to agree with ED in this case. "FX" would be more appropriate and correct.

Actually, if we're really anal, "Plugin" should be even more correct. Since not all plugins are effects, really.

I'm going to come down on the other side... I think "Insert" is the right term if that's the button you press to 'insert' a plugin onto that particular channel.
Definitely going to download this and try it when Albert is ready for the public to use it.
ETA... please be sure it's compatible with both Reaper 4 and Reaper 5 if you can. I'm sticking with Reaper 4 personally until Reaper 5 goes live for public release rather than messing with the beta.

Agreed! This is looking really good as it is right now... don't feel you need to add all the "bells and whistles" - simple is all that's needed sometimes.
If this turns out as good as it's looking right now, I feel a donation is in order

Edit: Came back thinking I see myself "Inserting" an fx and vsti onto a track, so I guess insert is appropriate FWIW, waiting to see what it will look like with some midi item clips in there.

I have to say I think the TCP looks very plain and crude compared to the MCP. Maybe you haven't gotten around to it yet, just wanted to mention it FWIW.

Of course, you would have to differentiate between "Input FX" and "Insert FX."
Newbies, ya know...

is still unfinished, lacking some elements such as track number, fx input and some change more, but the idea is to make it quite simple

To me "insert" has always been the right term (i.e. FX felt wrong to me, when inserting a VSTi into the sig path of a track), because what's inserted can be FX and/or instruments and they are always inserted no matter if the track in question functions as a bus or a "normal" track.
Anyway: Nice work, Albert. I like it!!

However Albert chooses to name his controls is cool with me. It's still some of the best theme work out there - bar none!

Agree here, the button gives you access to the channel insert point(s) where you can attach not only FX but much more. I think the term FX is certainly chosen incorrect here as the default and Inserts is much more appropriate.

Merry Xmas albert. Please keep midi composers(tools) in mind as well as audio engineers for this theme. It looks like the best theme I've seen yet, something about the color scheme so far just works.

Duuuuuuuuuuuude! I officially hate u!!!! lol
FIRST pic, TCP looks great and clean and uncluttered. Feels like in a blink
of an eye I get all the info I need from those tracks.
Someone mentioned it being bland or something (plain and crude, found it)... I don't get people, lol.
MCP awesome too.

I still have many things, actually I have only the default appearance ..
the rest will be easier ... I work in a layout (inspector) for not using mixer, to be docked in the tcp apart from other layouts.
the appearance of envcp tracks, will definitely be well. Only I will change some things
I've also improved the performance of tcp to narrow, and folder tracks

While you're dealing with TCP, I'm sure a lot of people would be grateful, in addition to already existing layouts, to have some kind of layout like this:
