render dialog shows wrong region count

I have a project with three regions, two of which are marked to be rendered in the region render matrix.

Upon rendering, the two marker regions are rendered correctly, but the dialog shows "Rendering region x/3" instead of "x/2".

Perhaps the /y is supposed to indicate the total number of regions, but that's pretty confusing if so.
