reaper_host64.exe has stopped working

I just upgraded to the newest version of Reaper V5.965 last night. When I open up the new Reaper icon on the desktop, all works fine. But when I open up one of my old songs I get this message "reaper_host64.exe has stopped working" (in duclicate) after I close out the program.

I have always used x64. I upgraded last from Reaper 5.1
System: Win7pro64, Motu UltraLite 3
