Pre2

"Hide buttons when media item height is less than..."

It's not working like pre1, I can't set different heights. For example, I had it (back in pre1) set to 35 pixels to make buttons disappear when the track just show the fader (no meter), now in pre2 I can't make them disappear at any height (just minimum).

One of the changes from pre1 is that if you have the preference enabled to show labels over items, and the item is tall enough to show the label, the button will always be shown in the label area. The reason is that the button can't possibly be blocking any edits of the item if the button is drawn above the item.

What would probably make everyone happy is a configurable setting for the minimum item height to draw the label above the item (as was suggested in the pre1 thread).

Makes sense, yeah. Thanks schwa.

Yep, a preference like that would be useful. Fingers crossed

Cheers

Default Slow Reaper Gui with Kontakt 4

On OSX the GUI ges a little bit slugish when using Reaper with Kontakt 4 especially when the Gui of Kontakt is somehow animated as it is with some of the new libraries.

The CPU is not maxed out. Only between 25-35%.

I don't want to spam or anything, but I think I'd rather (re)post that bug in the bug thread. There you go

I noticed a very weird bug that is unfortunately impossible to reproduce.

Some elements get deleted when undoing while they should not! I was editing one track when I pressed undo. At the same time, a whole track lost ALL the items that were on it.

I opened the undo tab and went backwards in the undo list. I checked 5 earlier positions and the items came back. To test what had happened, I started clicking redo and... 2 tracks lost all their items!

This is very, very strange and makes me pretty worried, as you can imagine.

Did anyone notice anything strange like that?

I have a pretty big session that is open: one hour long, 90 audio tracks (not full all the time), about 10 gigs of audio I think and 16'000 audio items. I am using reaper 3.69 (16 bit version) on XP64.

Please let me know if I'd better post that bug report somewhere else
