A Million Thoughts
It's been a very long time between songs for me but finally starting to get back to recording. Here's the first of a few....

Now right when I thought I had some of this mixing thing down pat, I'm a bit lost.
I reckon this one is pretty good but would appreciate what you think.
Yes, vocals are bit back but that's what I intended.

Rather heavy with those double kick runs, pretty live and roomy sounding too. Very nice.

Cheers....somewhere between mix and render I think the vocals got lost even further back.
Think I might bump them up a tad.
Kick gets a bit buried too. Time to make a few adjustments

Ok so I worked the vocal in a little better and hopefully it's ok now.
Still not sure how the song/ mix sounds so even if you think it stinks, please let me have it. I'm way out of practice!

Oh Hell YEAH!
Great vibe goin on with that song, really creates a mood. I listed on the laptop speakers, the mix worked fairly well through that. Tomorrow I'll through a listen through the LOUD machine and see how it shakes the walls...
Through the mixing headphones I'm hearing maybe a little too much 'click' on the bass drum beater, during their loud parts. then toward last bit of song the click was there but seemed very thin and a bit higher freq too. the very last bass drum hit at end of song is perfect ( IMHO ).
Those vocals I really like how they sit 'in' the mix and kinda float around like all the thoughts..
Seems like a good song for some drivin with the windows down and disturbing some of these Ca. snowflakes..

Thanks man, glad you got the vibe out of it.
Yeah the kick is kinda clicky and I played with it quite alot....then decided fuck it, I like it like that. I wouldn't normally make it so short and snappy.
