[Media Explorer] - Export/Import Individual Databases

Hey,

It would be really useful to be able to export and import individual databases in order to share already generated databases with a team of people with access to the same sound library servers etc. It would save on having the whole team generating databases, meaning just one person can handle the generation and distribute databases accordingly.

I know that you can export/import Media Explorer databases in the config export, but that overwrites everything and is not granular enough to be useful for regularly sharing databases.

A simple right-click menu item would be super useful, "Export Database..." and "Import Database..."

Options > Show REAPER Resource Path

Go to the \MediaDB folder. Your databases are text files. You can share those. Your colleagues can overwrite their copies.

You could probably script a solution to do that automatically. If you're on the same network I'd have you synchronizing a write to a common area or simply share that folder out. Everyone else would be synchronizing a read from that.
