Thanks!
However I do not get the meaning of this quoted instruction. The impulses are stereo, so where should I mono them?
Not in the plugin pin connector I guess???

Hey urednik, don't worry about it, it's how most convoverbs work if they're not in True Stereo Mode. It just means the signal coming in is mono and the signal going out is stereo.

Ok, I get it, but where is this setting supposed to be?
I simply put a Reaverb VST on MASTER and choose file, disable normalising, set dry wet? And?

You have to select the file by browsing to where ever you put the wave file impulses that you downloaded.
( I simply put a Reaverb VST on MASTER and choose file) when you chose File it should hae given you the chance to browse for the file.

Huum maybe I'm not understanding you. Other than loading the impulse there should be no setting other than what you see in the ReaVerb dialog box. Unless you've put ReaVerb on a track that is not set up with 2 outputs, then it should have the right pin connections.

I wanted to mention that Tod (here at the forum) teamed up
with me to create a PDF user guide for the VS8F reverb IR files.
.... Thank you Tod !!! ....
The guide now comes with the "bundle" download, or, you can
download the guide separately (see the first post of this thread for the details).
And, Thank you to everyone for the great replies in regards to the IR files.
I'm happy to see that you are enjoying these free reverb IR files.
Note:
- A special thank you to Tod for all of your help, ideas, and for
teaming up with me to create the PDF file user guide.
- Thank you to Bozmillar for the extra tool (SSIC) to add to my JS plugin collection,
and thank you for all of your help and information. Very much appreciated.
- Thank you to EpicSounds for the recommendations, help, and code modification.
- And thank you to everyone else here at the forum who shared their ideas,
answered questions, and helped to make this all possible during the development stages.

I'm sorry for the confusion urednik....
I now removed that information from the post because it was not important.
But, since that caused some confusion, let me explain and shed some light on the topic:
"Mono in --> Stereo out" is a reverb processing structure.
The only reason that I had mentioned this, is because that was the method
used to capture the stereo IR files.
Conclusion:
This has nothing to do with any settings that you need to make in ReaVerb.
When using ReaVerb, All you need to do is load the IR files into
the plugin and you are finished... (Nothing else is required).
A bonus tip when using ReaVerb:
I always recommend activating (checking) both the "ZL" and "LL" boxes in ReaVerb.

Very nice. Thanks a lot!
Unfortunately, I think that ReaVerb is parallel stereo only (I've hardly ever used it and may be wrong here, but if there is no setting to change it to mono to stereo then that's it). Reverberate LE is ps only but Reverberate CM has mono to stereo option. I don't know about SIR.
Cheers, Alex

The files are mono to stereo and should be loaded into mono to stereo plugin. If not, processing will still be ps (which is not good for hard panned mono sources).

ReaVerb works perfectly as "mono to stereo" like this:
Insert ReaVerb on a track channel and use that channel as an effect buss (100% wet).
Send all of the tracks that you want processed (send:"PRE-FADER [Post-FX]")
to the channel that contains ReaVerb.
You will be able to pan any of your dry mono tracks around in the
stereo spectrum without effecting the panning of the reverb.
.... This method also saves on CPU usage ....
However, If you decide that you want to pan the reverb effect also,
you still have the option to adjust the panning of the reverb separately if desired.
Side note:
If I know that I'm planning to pan my dry mono track to
dead center (example: snare drum, kick drum), then, I
like to insert the reverb plugin directly on to my audio
track and process it there to prevent the small amount of "lag time" (processing time)
that sometimes happens when using an effect buss.
(Although, when using an effect buss, you can adjust the pre-delay time to compensate for this).
