@Ulf3000

You should add feature-requests into the github-issues of SWS:
https://github.com/reaper-oss/sws/issues

hi, I'm a mastering engineer and the Notes feature is really helpful during the initial analysis fase. I would like to see an export function, though, so I can give my thoughts back to the client. Is that possible? Or perhaps an overview page with all the notes at once so I can copy/paste?

thanks!

EDIT : placed this request also at github

Did anyone ever shorten the switching time of SWS Live configs?

I am not active on SWS anymore and it seems nobody else is interested in fixing this so I just bashed a few scripts that should act as a replacement for some of these actions:

It's already fixed for next SWS version (which should be out soon(ish) hopefully).

With all due respect Breeder, to me that sounds very disrespectful towards nofish, cfillion and X-Raym (I hope I didn't forget anyone) and their work. They are trying their best to keep up SWS.
Maybe you didn't intend to sound like that (I really hope I got it wrong and if so, I stand correct), but I wanted to point out that I'm very thankful to these guys for keeping SWS alive.

To whom it may concern:

https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=226217

I'm trying to polish a script, and it seems as if the SWS devs have at some point in time delved into REAPER's vertical scroll/zoom capabilities which I so desperately need to access.

I say this due to the many actions SWS has which I am incapable of producing even using REAPER's API (E.g., 'vertical zoom to track,' etc).

Is there any possible way that you guys, the SWS crew could add either my requested function, or a very high-res vertical zoom action?

It seems as if the action, 'vertical zoom one loop iteration' is no longer existent in REAPER.

Is SWS ready for Reaper 6 or should I use the last pre-release version?

Use the pre-release: SWS v2.11.0 adds compatibility with REAPER 6 (5.981+dev0801 and later to be precise).

Thank you for the answer, do you know if this version introduces some serious bug?

I'm using contextual toolbars a lot and also SAVE and LOAD cc lanes in midi editor together with other actions.

does not seem to work properly when the project is zoomed out on latest dev build

BR_ItemAtMouseCursor has the same issue

Can you share more details on that (what counts as "not working properly", how to duplicate exactly)? I tried zoomed out like this: https://i.imgur.com/wjZEOW1.gif.

Zoom out vertically so track height is small. It won't actually get an item and will instead give a nil value. I'll make a gif if you still can't repro. I tried it on non-dev v6 and it works fine.

Guys, I have these cool functions I use on my private build of REAPER ReWorked to span many windows across all monitors. It's really a joy to be working with mixer or MIDI editor using all available monitors - in my current case, two 1080p monitors.

I would like to port this to public build, but because each person has different monitor setup I need some way to read that data.

If you could export GetSystemMetrics, that would help a ton in this case. Thank you!

@Breeder

I'd suggest opening an issue on the tracker, so it doesn't get lost here (you know the deal :P).
That said, since it looks like it's in SWELL it should be rather straightforward to do I'd think.

Awesome! I thought it wasn't in SWELL because I think that was the reason I didn't export it when I had the chance. I'll do the issue tracker thing now, thanks!

Command SWS/wol team: Set selected envelope height to maximum, focuses beyond the workfield. SWS version - sws-2.11.0.0-Windows-x64-5db88c1a, Reaper 6.01 x64.
Before that, the command was working correctly

I can confirm, also that it doesn't seem to happen with v2.10.0.

edit:
Created an issue on the SWS tracker:

The related "What's new?" is here.

What's a pre-release? It's software that's not necessarily ready for full public consumption: pre-release software should be expected to have bugs, use at your own risk! Feature requests, and bugs should be reported in our issue tracker, or in this very thread.

The only way we can continue to provide great software is with your help and feedback.

Thank you!
Hi, Jeffos!
Please, see if I'm right!

In the file, template_sws2.11.0.0 beta, was missing the string:

56E1AB850DA74F26=SWS/SN: Focus MIDI editor

Best regards

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, so if not, please let me know and I will post that there.

I am running R6 and have SWS 2.10 running, and I am having some problems with my centectual toolbars setup. Most are working, but ones I have setup to open on the track TCP and MCP aren't opening. My other ones setup to work on items and on arrange area of tracks work fine though.

any thoughts? thanks!

It should work properly with the SWS v2.11 beta which adds support for the new TCP/MCP architecture in R6 (if it doesn't, please post back):

Default FX Monitoring Actions

Hi ¡¡¡

Could it be possible to include: " Open/Close FX Nºx in FX monitoring chain " ?

We have those actions for traks and master, and are really usefull.

For FX monitoring we still have to move to menu each time we need to open an Fx.

Thanks ¡¡¡

I know it's not the same you asked for, but you can shift-left click the FX button in master track (mixer and track panel) to have monitoring fx chain pop up. Or, in REAPER 6 default theme, there's a button on the top right corner of the screen to recall monitoring FX chain.

Hi Mario, I have all my analysis FX right now in master track and I open them vía Novation Launch assigned.

I can still do it, but I think it would be nice to have master FX slots for what ever users want to use it and also esay access via shortcut to Monitoring FX, so we can use each signal flow point for different porpouses.

Thanks for your quick reply

This would be quite straightforward to script I think.
So you may ask in the scripts forum is someone's up for it as well.

All 24 actions should be present by default. 2.12 adds the ability to customize how many are created. If they are missing, could you send me your S&M.ini?

(If you're using a langpack, the strings for "Save as snapshot n" have changed.)
