Auto Crossfade of Automation Items

Hi all

If an Audio/MIDI item on the Playlist is moved (either directly, or via Rippling), and Automation Items are follow that move, then you can end up with a discontinuity between the "end point" of the first Automation Item and the "start point" of the second. Currently I can't see a neat way to fix this.

It would be great if there was the option to Crossfade Automation Items (similar to how we can do it with Audio Items) so that it automatically smooths the join.

Since it is possible to have overlapping Automation Items on the same envelope, it would need to be an option rather than a default, perhaps via a Mouse Modifier.
