After 4 years using Reaper very successfully I am still baffled when I inadvertently change the view. I hope this never happens during a recording session.
There is no un-do and all I want is the default view but cannot find a way to get the default view back.
Default view? Can you be more specific? What is/isn't showing for you?
If you need a way to preserve the layout/visibility of windows etc, you can save a screenset on the windows tab. Search screenset in the actions list if you don't know what I'm referring to.
The Mixer Panel is floating and I cannot get it back below the Track Panel

Right-click somewhere in empty space in the mixer panel (or e.g. in the title bar where it says 'Mixer'), context menu will pop up -> Dock mixer in docker
