Default A Journey to Distant Objects [Berlin School (of a fashion)]

Hi Peeps

I thought I'd bore you with yet another of my happy creations.

More of a Berlin School track this one. And it is twenty five minutes long, so not for Peeps requiring the instant gratification of a three minute pop song.

All created with REAPER, of course, using a collection of VST instruments and effects, plus a bit of guitar (not much in the grand scheme of things... I wanted to do more but I'm just not that good).

Some ambience with lots of sequencer stuff

I hope some of you "album oriented" peeps are able to make it to the end

Next time I am doing some programming, I will be listening to this. The recording has the feel of a never ending, never resolving, suspended chord. Continuous but not repetitive. Nice, very nice.

What is generating the fat Moog like sounds that I hear in places? I want it.

Thank you for taking the time to listen to "Journey," T, I really appreciate it

I can only think that you bass you are referring to was from an instance of Hive. I took a preset and tweaked it to suit my needs. It actually plays all the way through but I let it come and go by automating both the volume fader and the cutoff frequency.

cheers
