compacting tracks

Hi, how do you compact tracks in a folder so that they don't take up space in the arrangement. Thanks

there should be a little triangle in a circle just above the track number in the folder track - click this - it cycles through 3 size options for the child tracks

That triangle is optional, its possible to turn it off. Check the actions window to verify it's on, if you don't see it.

i could be wrong, but i thought it was only optional for the mixer - i think the op was asking about the arrange?
