Default Addictive Drums 2 MIDI file one octave higher

Hello,
I have a drummer doing some work for me. AD2 has the bass drum on C1 and everything goes up from there. He is saying the file on his end starts on C1. When I import it into Reaper, everything starts at C2 and goes up from there. I realize my explanation sucks but I hope you can tell by the screen cap. I'm getting side stick hits where I should be getting mid snare hits and crash cymbals where I should be getting hi hats, etc.

I've attached a screen cap of the MIDI file in Reaper and the MIDI map in AD2. Where the heck am I going wrong and how do I fix it. I would really appreciate some help here. Thank you!

Sam

Thanks, of course I thought of that but that wasn't the problem. He says he used default AD2 mapping. When I wrote back and said there's no way, he says, OK, try Roland TD-20 from the drop down menu - BINGO!

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it!

Your screenshots are too small. Use https://stash.reaper.fm/ next time.
You should go to Preferences->Media,MIDI and change "Midi octave name display offset" from 0 to -1.

Thanks! I couldn't figure out how to change the octave name display either. I realized that about the screen shots after I finally got them to upload but it was late and I was beat. I thought it might have had something to do with key switches as I had a similar problem with NI 'Strummed Acoustic'. I went to my posts and apparently I figured out my problem but can't recall the problem or the solution and can't even recall what a key switch is now!

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it!
