Default quickest way to determine complex routing for side chain

Hello!

I'm having trouble figuring out how to search the answer to this:

What's the easiest/quickest way to determine a complex routing configuration that's been set up for side chain compression? (I mean, of course, without opening every compressor, one by one!)

Say, for example, I open up a music project from 2 years ago, and it's 35 tracks.. and I want to determine which tracks are receiving a signal, and from which other tracks, on their Aux channels 3 & 4.

I realize I can determine the general auxiliary routing in the routing matrix, but is it possible to tell *specifically* that, for example:

track 1 is sending its channels 1 & 2 to track 10's channels 3 & 4
track 1 is sending its channels 1 & 2 to track 16's channels 3 & 4
track 3 is sending its channels 1 & 2 to track 10's channels 3 & 4
track 3 is sending its channels 1 & 2 to track 6's channels 3 & 4
etc...

And to determine this at a quick glance and with fewest mouse clicks.

Or if you can suggest another way to determine this, quickly?

Thank you for your help!
Pietro

Thanks for the quick reply.

I must be missing something -- could you tell me how you view the routing from a certain **channel** a given track to a certain **channel** on another track? (see my original post for an example)

Ah! I don't know why I didn't notice earlier that hovering over each aux send symbol for each track in the routing matrix reveals channel information.

Cool! So that's pretty quick.

Still, if there's a list or graphic table where you can visually scan all the channel info at once without having to hover over each one--please let me know! I mean, like the same way I can see--all at once--all the sends being sent from all tracks... is there a way to see all the relation between all the channels for all the sends--basically an expanded version of the routing matrix.

I realize this is a long winded question, and potentially difficult to understand what I'm asking, so please ask me questions so I can clairfy

Thanks for you help!
Really appreciate it

-Pietro

You can
(a) open the Routing Matrix and hover over the send Indicator
(b) hover over the Routing button on the track.

Ah - you posted while I was typing. There may be a ReaScript that lists all the routings.
