Default SOLVED: Can a keyboard be split into three zones in Reaper?

Hi,

Does Reaper have the means to split a keyboard into three zones, each sending to a different MIDI channel to three different instruments on three different tracks?

I've tried various combinations of the MIDI Keysplit LV2 but to no avail.

The keyboard in question is an Alesis V61 which, to the best of my knowledge, can't split itself.

Ta.

Or:

You can set the Oct values to transpose the notes up/down too. Then add the 3 Sends - one for each track

-----------------------------------------
Or you could put the 3 instrument plug-ins on the same track, set a different Output Bus in Bus_Station and set each plug-in to receive from a different Bus.

That looks amazing, thanks for the share!

Cripes.

Thanks DarkStar and sockmonkey72.

The forum software won't let me download the Bus Station but MIDI Perfomer 2 (MP2?) will do the job, and solve a few other problems too.

I wish there was something like MP2 that could be whacked over the main control inputs rather than as a track plugin, for channel muting etc.

The V61's editor works fine in WINE, allowing me to whack the drum pads on Ch15 (where they're very unlikely to clash with anything else) and assign them to mute/solo actions.

I also use an M-Audio Oxygen25 and Akai MPK Mini; the latter's software won't play ball and the former won't let the drum pads be changed from Ch 10 at all.

Irking. Very, very irking.
