Crikey...It's been a while.
I did like the Kazrog stuff at first, but the landscape for amp vsts has changed a lot and become a lot more competitive.
In the interim period we now have Nembrini, and Igor Nembrini is a wizard of capturing amps digitally.
Also, Audio Assault and Kuassa really pulled out the stops, their latest offerings are superb.
I'm looking forwards to it, but Kazrog really have their work cut out for them.

My vote is for Kuassa. Bought two... Matchlock (Fender) and Calliburn (Marshall) for $25 bucks each. Great sounds, very good presets, mic selection and positioning, cabinet selection and more. Great graphics too. Good luck!

Yeah, another vote for kuassa.
Between the Matchlock for cleans and breakup and the creme for.. well.. insanity, I don't think I need much more. And their new orange ond vox emulators sound quite nice.. I just don't have a need for them
Oh, and cerberus for bass is a friggin monster.
But then again, I'm mostly a singer. Guitar is just something I play to back myself up.

Softube Amp Room might be my new favorite. It's also massively on sale this month btw.
I was looking forward to new Kazrog amps for a long time but that didn't give me anything to get excited about. One single high gain amp model? There are already so many awesome free high gain amp sims...
I know it's trivial but also the interface looks astonishingly dated to me. Their last two plugins had very slick UIs so this is a real eyesore by comparison.
When will someone break some new tonal ground with amp sims? If I've heard a sound on "countless albums and tours" maybe I'd rather hear something else by now? Not that there aren't new ways to use the classic old sounds, but where are the pioneers of digital guitar amps?
Did guitar tone already peak in the last century and more and more perfect emulations are all we can hope for? Or is there just no market for futuristic digital amps that eschew the rules and limitations of physical amp circuits?

I love Kazrog's Thermionic + ReCabinet, but sometimes it causes Reaper to quit/disappear (usually when I start clicking things too quickly). I'm not sure a new high-gain amp like this is quite what I need, but I'd be interested in trying it out.
Like some of the others who posted, I also like Kuassa and Audio Assault. My go-to amp for a while has been S-Gear. Some of the presets need very little tweaking to get the sound I want, whereas with Thermionic + ReCabinet I might spend a lot of time trying/adjusting different amps and cabinets to get the same sound.
One thing I like about Kuassa and Thermionic is that they allow separate left/right inputs and maintain the stereo routing throughout the amp. S-Gear allows separate left/right inputs, but sums them to mono in the amp, which means I need to create a Reaper track routing with separate left/right amp instances if I am using a stereo guitar signal and want to maintain the stereo image in the output.

I really don't have any need for another high gain amp sim, but...
What I do miss is a good clean fender telecaster/strat clean sound.
I have it in Bias FX, but I don't trust that in the long run.
I have Kuassa, but can't get any good out of it.

I love AmpliTube for cleans. They have a lot of good Fender sims, esp the Twin Reverb. The HiWatt and the Leslie amps also get great cleans thought he latter is decidedly "warmer" and not at all "glassy" like the Twin.

The Overloud stuff is so great it's ridiculous. I've been a huge fan since the SimulAnalog days.
Although, their customer service needs a little polish.

Of course you don't have to use the UAD plugins that are advertised. There are plenty of paid/free/donationware alternatives.
