Default How to burn a gapless CD from Reaper

I would like to burn a CD with multiple tracks but no gaps.
Just have a continuous sound stream but still have track's tags (or IDs, or something that makes my CD player see multiple tracks and not just a big one).

I tried using the "#" markers trick, but it did not work ...

As Reaper has no function to burn straight out of it, how can I achieve that ?

I am using Toast (Mac here) as a CD-burner software, and even with a "0" second gap between tracks (seperate audio files in this case), there is a very small blank pause between the tracks...

Hi, you need software that will burn the CD in 'Disc at Once' and not 'Track At Once' - then you wont get the gaps forced on you.

Cheers

"disc at once" works for separate tracks, as daa mentioned.

or if you want to render one continuous file from Reaper, just put markers where you want the tracks to split, make sure to check "write markers as cue" in the render dialog, then render.

you can then use Cue List Tool to create a cue sheet from the rendered file. check out THIS THREAD for more info.

then burn the cd with software that supports burning from cue sheets. ImgBurn is good free disc burning software that uses cue sheets, but i don't think it's for mac.

Thanx for the tricks, guys.
I will check if Toast supports Disc-at-once and burn test CDs.

CueListTool and ImgBurn are Windows-only, I am afraid ...

Now, the #markers trick did not work when tested on my side (Mac again).
It just did not see them as cues ... I tried a couple of times, made sure there were no typo mistakes, etc.

any other Mac users having that problem ?
