Default Simple question

I've noticed that whenever you open up a file it always loads with a very small crossfade or should I say fade in and fade out. Hardly noticable unless you expand the tracks.

Just wondered what the purpose of this was. To reduce pops and clicks maybe?

Yes. If you prefer you can set the default fade length to zero in Options > Preferences > Project > Defaults.

Cheers,

Malcolm.
