Crashes when copypasting FX

When copy pasting effects, Reaper (the program itself - not the fx host/bridge) will often crash. Don't think I'm given an error code. Seems to happen most often with amp sims such as revalver and amplitube but has happened with other effects as well. Incredibly annoying.

I got some minidump files out of this the last time it happened, but not sure what I'm looking at/for in them. Also, windows7 did something automatically with the compatibility assistance the last time but didn't specify what it had actually done. I'm not sure if this has improved the issue or not yet.

Just had kinda the same issue.

I had a 1 track project I was going to use to set up Guitar amp FX chains. Had three Ignite amp plugs on a track ( pre amp -amp -cab IR). Went to save as a FX chain. ...Reaper went down. Never had any issue with Ignite stuff before......at least that I know of.

P.S. A finally realized how to turn on Auto Save to stop some of this bleeding but failed to help myself by not naming and saving the project first.....Of course it wasnt supposed to be a project.

I just realized I was in bug reports. I did a search on fx crashes and ended up here. Please feel free to delete this.

I did read the above thread and am now more informed.
