OK, thanks for clarifying. I was pulling my hair out there
Can you please let us all know what plans you might have, if any, for adding AUv3 for macOS?
I know you're working on M1 support - might it be in that context?
Just by way of context, as I'm sure you know: Apple have provided us plug-in developers with a simple way to distribute our plug-ins - and that is via the Apple Store, as as Audio Unit extensions (AUv3).
So, I have to guess that is the way that the majority of macOS plug-ins are going to be distributed in the future (certainly, those written by smaller and medium size developers, who don't want the hassle of dealing with their own distribution mechanism, not to mention the protections from Gatekeeper etc.)
From the point of view of Intermorphic, we no longer distribute our binaries outside of the official stores, and have taken that approach for some years now; so I guess for Wotja users to use the Wotja AUv3 with Reaper ... will depend on what happens on your side in the future
Hoping it happens, as I've been a big fan of Reaper for years now; back in the days of our Mixtikl and Noatikl products, we always pointed our customers straight at Reaper.
Best wishes,
Pete
