Default Can anyone please explain how can I get this delay vocal effect?

As the title says, can someone please explain how can I get this delay vocal effect? Subtle, but yet audible without being obnoxious? Thanks.

The delay is ducked by the dry vocal, is it?

I believe so, but if I am ducking it with a compressor I am not getting quite the same duble effect. Even with filtering and stuff, still doesn't seem so subtle...

Delay is a lot lower in volume (obviously) and high- and low-pass filtered imo.
Additionally you could send the delayed signal in a reverb to make it even more 'washy' (is that a word? lol).

That should get you in the ballpark I think, otherwise maybe let us hear what you have so far so we could probably give more suggestions.
